The Master and his otherworldly soldiers (Toclafane)
The Master and his otherworldly soldiers (Toclafane)
As an atheist, I don’t believe in Satan/Lucifer, but the character as a rebellious figure has some appeal. I think a lot of atheists agree. The Church of Satan is a just a group of atheists who admire the figure and want to piss off Christians. Now, Satan wouldn’t be a just leader, but on the other hand, neither would God. The only reason God is good is because God is first and gets to define what good is for his people. This is not good as humans, specifically modern Westerners, would typically define morality. I find a Doctor Who storyline to inadvertently illustrate God’s tyranny and...

Why don’t te believe in God? I get that domanda all the time. I always try to give a sensitive, reasoned answer. This is usually awkward, time consuming and pointless. People who believe in God don’t need proof of his existence, and they certainly don’t want evidence to the contrary. They are happy with their belief. They even say things like “it’s true to me” and “it’s faith.” I still give my logical answer because I feel that not being honest would be patronizing and impolite. It is ironic therefore that “I don’t believe in God because there is absolutely no scientific...

Is God a divine being of truth? o is he a sadistic monster?
A lot of Christians go about their daily lives thinking: God is everything. He is just, kind, and wise. He would never hurt anyone! All those people suffering and being killed? Oh, they’re all devils; God has the right to kill them. Even though the Ten Commandments clearly state: Thou shalt not kill. But of course, God is special! What about those good, hard-working, loyal Christians suffering? Oh, God’s just testing them. For what? A maths test? Even if this false deity existed, he has shown evidence of is sadism.

Religion argues with Atheism that it should rule. Since the end of the overused God argument doesn't seem to be near, Logic and Science suggest they throw a dice. If Religion guess the number, it can be in charge. Science provides an ordinary dice.

Religion: "Five."
Atheism: "Anything else and te lose."
Religion: "I won't lose."
Atheism: "We'll see about that."
Logic: "Ok, are te ready?"
Religion and Atheism: "Yes!"

They throw the dice. Unfortunately it, while still turning, rolls under a heavy closet.

Atheism: "Oh come on!"
Religion: "It's five."
Logic: "You don't know that. It's five to one against."...

I was recently looking for a video that I've commentato on a few months ago, when I encountered a video da detto troll. da the time I've done skimming through the comments, I was nearly puking - o at least very sickened da his repellent tone.

Therefore I shall rant regarding his ferociously presented fallacies and be done with it. I shall start with a few Citazioni from his comments.
"The lower animal and the atheist are on exact the same intellectual level..."
I shall not bother to address this disgusting argumentum ad hominem, but only paraphrase it in mockery, no offense intended towards the Frenchmen...

"What happens when we're dead? The irony is that all our domande wil be answered after we die. We spend our whole life trying to figure out the truth and the only way we'll find out what it is, is to get hit da a bus. And the only comfort that religion offers is that God is driving that bus." - John Ryman, When Galaxies Collide

I found this on a website, and lets just say that it's one of the biggest FAILS I've ever come across. Clearly whoever made this has never learned about the Water Cycle, *facedesk*

"The amount of water on earth is 1.386x10^21 liters.

Lets assume that people will only use 2 liters of water per day. This is a lot less than people actually use, but for simplicity we'll only take the optimal drinking quantity per day.

There are 6 billion people on earth (closer to 7 billion, but let's be generous to the atheists). This means that we drink 12 billion liters of water per day. (12x10^9 liters)...

1. I am the Lord your God, who brought te up out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.

2. te shall have no other Gods before me.

3. te shall not make for yourself an idol, whether in the form of anything that is in heaven above, o that is on the earth beneath, o that is in the water under the earth. te shall not bow down to them o worship them; for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, punishing children for the iniquity of parents, to the third and fourth generation of those who reject me. But mostrare steadfast Amore to the thousandth generation of those who Amore me and keep...

There has been thoughts on my mind a lot these last few days and I think its time I talk about them.

But before I go on, let me just say that I am NOT trying to make people angry o start a "war" on the 'net, I'm just gonna say how I honestly feel about all this.

When I go on the 'net, I discover tons of "religious wars" going back and forth over who's right o wrong about what people believe and the way they think.

To me, I choice to be in the neutral spot when it comes to things like this. Why? Because humans have become "one-sided" and are getting worse. Only focusing on one side causes fights...

First off, I'm going to say a few things. Yes, I categorized this as news. Second, I believe Gesù existed. Not as a holy being, but as a good, respectable guy who preached his religion, as a historical figure . But, using the Bible's own logic, I'm going to try and collapse the whole holy image of Gesù and leave the picture of a man. Imperfect, sure, a religious dude, but I don't have a problem with religious people. I was raised Christian (my parents don't know I'm an atheist), but off of the idea that Gesù was not perfect.

Top Ten Signs You're a Fundamentalist Christian

10 - te vigorously deny the existence of thousands of gods claimed da other religions, but feel outraged when someone denies the existence of yours.

9 - te feel insulted and "dehumanized" when scientists say that people evolved from other life forms, but te have no problem with the Biblical claim that we were created from dirt.

8 - te laugh at polytheists, but te have no problem believing in a Triune God.

7 - Your face turns purple when te hear of the "atrocities" attributed to Allah, but te don't even flinch when...

It happens to all of us. We are in a conversation with a believer and we end up in an argument, frustrated and upset that the believer walked away with even stronger convictions about their faith then before. Many of us have dato up trying to talk to believers. It seems hopeless and pointless. After all, they all drag out the same tired arguments.
Evolution is just a theory.
You can’t prove there is no God.
Atheism is also faith.
We couldn’t have just come from nothing
I know God exists from personal experience.
These are just a few. How do we speak to someone with these certainties? It appears...

The Bible says that atheism is wrong.

"The Bible also says some guy's donkey talked."

If te believe in God and are wrong, then it's no big deal, but if te don't believe in God and are wrong, you'll be punished eternally, so it's not a good idea to be an atheist.

2. How do te define "truth"?

3. Why do te believe atheism is a justifiable position to hold?...

The story of Noah’s Ark and the flood is one of the most popolare stories in the Bible and Koran. It also has become one of the most polarizing arguments in the Creationism vs. Evolution debate. The dibattito really is a by-product of denial of history and science da the faithful and their leaders. The dibattito has been over for the last 150 years o so, since Charles Darwin’s Origin of Species showed that all living things evolve over long periods of time.

Many of the so called debates deal mainly with the science of evolution, but rarely the history of the actual story itself. It is important...

" I deal with Christian lies on a daily basis. These lies range from the myth that Einstein was a theist, to the claim that there is conclusive evidence for Jesus’ existence. I had to make this page so that I could collect some common lies told and present the truth behind the matter. There are hundreds of things I feel compelled to discuss but I shall it to a superiore, in alto five list. The superiore, in alto five lies Christian’s tell:

Are we at the ground floor of the end of religion and the start of a dominant secular society? Although the decline of belief in America is evident, the country still remains largely religious. 80% of Americans believe in a personal god. I see small glimpses of true secularism and atheistic movements chipping away at religious institutions and thought. We can see what the future of a true secular and atheist society will look like da observing the leaders, social media, and local atheist communities. The fear and skepticism of atheists da the faithful still remains to be a roadblock to progress,...

I know that this will probably anger some people, but this was just to good to pass up. These are word for word passages from the bible. There is proof in the bible that zombies are coming.

Zechariah 14:12

12And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

sounds a lot like zombies doesn't it? Many people take the bible as the truth, and also see it as a book of prophecy....

So I'm 15, and already I have discovered the sad truth of the world, people hate others. Sure te may be thinking, "Duh! Of course people hate people! What are te stupid?" But, what I mean is that they HATE me cuz of something I believe in, and I am only 15. 15 and people want me dead o thrown out of America, o they want me to be converted o a slave o whatever. I am 15 years old, 15 and people my age want me dead because I'm atheist.

Apparently because of my lack of religion, I am a cold, heartless, soulless person. I am cruel and emotionless, and all opinions I have are false. 13 years...
