You're not alone
Together we stand
I'll be da your side, te know I'll take your hand
When it gets cold
And it feels like the end
There's no place to go
You know I won't give in
No I won't give in

Keep holding on
'Cause te know we'll make it through, we'll make it through
Just stay strong
'Cause te know I'm here for you, I'm here for you
There's nothing te could say
Nothing te could do
There's no other way when it comes to the truth
So keep holding on
'Cause te know we'll make it through, we'll make it through

So far away
I wish te were here
Before it's too late, this could all disappear
Before the doors...

Avril Lavigne is a girl who knows what she wants. And when it came to Scrivere her eagerly awaited third album, The Best Damn Thing, she had one very clear goal in mind: To make it fun. While touring in 2004 for her last album, Under My Skin, which sold più than 8 million copies worldwide, the Canadian-born punk-pop dynamo found that her preferito songs to play were the faster, più up-tempo songs—so she resolved to make a record that captured the kind of high-spirited, full-throttle energy that she loved to unleash on-stage.

The Best Damn Thing is brimming with gutsy chitarra riffs, instantaneously...

The XXI Olympic Winter Games has officially come to a close on Sunday, February 28 with a closing ceremony held at the official venue, BC Place, in Vancouver. Helping to celebrate the end of the 2010 games was among others Canadian singer Avril Lavigne who dazzled audiences with her surprise performance.

Looking stunning in her red mini-dress with black strappy heels, the 25-year-old punk rocker took the stage after fellow Canadian singers Michael Buble and Alanis Morissette performed their numbers. The singer who contributes to the soundtrack for "Alice in Wonderland" delivered two of her...

Get ready to hear a softer side of Avril Lavigne. The Canadian pop singer tells Billboard.com that she's taking a più serious, stripped-down approach to her fourth studio album, tentatively slated for a November release on RCA. "A lot of the songs are mainly the acoustic and my vocal," says Lavigne of the as-yet-untitled project. "It's a lot different from anything I've done before. It's not a pop rock record. This is più about emotion and feeling."

Lavigne's husband (and Sum 41 frontman) Deryck Whibley produced eight of the album's projected 12 tracks, half of which she says were were written...

Lavigne and Deryck Whibley, lead singer and guitarist for the band Sum 41, began dating when she was 19 years old, after being Friends since she was 17.[141] Only a few weeks before they met, Lavigne admitted that she was not meeting boys because her bodyguards were frightening them away. I’ve been waiting a long time for this: new Avril music!!! Nearly four years since her last record, her fourth studio album, “Goodbye Lullaby” is set for release in March. The track lista has already been revealed. While I’m anxiously awaiting the release, the Max Martin produced kick-off single, “What the Hell,” gives us a taste of what’s to come from the new album and if this song is any indication, we definitely have a lot to look inoltrare, avanti to from Avril this spring.

With synth-filled, steady beats and a prominent...
