YG Entertainment once again assures that Seungri is not in serious condition despite having been in the ICU previously

YG Entertainment once again assured worried fans that Big Bang\'s Seungri is not in serious condition, after a report came out claiming that Seungri had only just been moved to the general ward of the hospital from the ICU (Intensive Care Unit).

Newsen on the 24th, "It\'s been a while since Seungri was transferred from the ICU (Intensive Care Unit) to the general hospital ward. After being in the ICU for around 3 days to a week, he was moved to the general hospital ward."

"Seungri was expected to remain in the hospital for a week, but it is taking longer than expected. But it is not a very serious condition, so he is staying in the hospital to just rest a bit longer... He is still recovering and his condition has improved a lot. His date of release from the hospital has not been decided yet."

However, despite the reassurance, netizens and fans are questioning whether his injuries are as minor as the agency previously claimed, especially since the agency did reveal today that the idol was at one point admitted into the ICU. They also point out that if his injuries are minor like the agency previously stated, the idol should be well enough to participate in the police investigation.

Uh last time I checked ICU meant Intensive Care Unit which means serious condition. 

Didn\'t they say he had to be closely monitored to ensure that the internal bleeding was going to heal on it\'s own without surgery?  ICU is one of those departments that allow that constant monitoring.  At least it\'s that way here.  I am not saying YG isn\'t glossing it over but it\'s also Seungri\'s private life, they are protecting his confidentially.

I don\'t believe his condition wasn\'t serious at first. He wouldn\'t have been in the ICU if it wasn\'t, and internal bleeding in your liver CAN be serious. I\'m glad he\'s doing better, but I hope YG let\'s him rest and not just get well enough so he can just barely perform his individual activities.

i dont care about anything else, just make sure he get well and get to stage soon,

that\'s what they always say.. it\'s nth big.. always like that.. just hope Seungri is really ok..

YG is very protective management to all of artist under his management. If you want to interview Bigbang -whole member or just one member of Bigbang- there is some list that YG not allowed you to asked them:

1. no question about Seungri accident were allowed.

3. no question about their private life, dating or girlfriend.

4. no question about their past scandal, rumour and gossip.

On the other side, with all of this happen with Seungri, and people always say YG this YG that - Seungri this Seungri that, YG doing a good job to protecting Seungri with less statement. The most important now is Seungri recovery.

I don\'t know the reason why YG tried to hide the ICU part at first and make us believe that Seungri is okay, but they shouldn\'t have hidden it for the very beginning because everything will be revealed eventually. The press is always digging its way to more details about incidents, and maybe later on YG might admit that Seungri underwent liver surgery to stop the bleeding. I\'m not a medicine student, nor am I a doctor, but is it possible for an internal bleeding to stop without surgery?!! There\'s something absolutely fishy there! 

Anyways, I hope Seungri is really okay right now and just resting as

they say. The truth will be revealed one day, but if it\'s for Seungri\'s safety it\'s better for us not know!

I don\'t understand why YG has to concoct these cover-ups. First of all, THANK GOD SEUNGRI survived that crash....BUT please seeing how his car got TOTALLED, it is so hard to believe that he only sustained minor injury. Walking out of the ambulance is a bad idea, he should have kept on SPINAL PRECAUTION with a CERVICAL COLAR on...I don\'t know Korea\'s law regarding ambulance releasing patient from a major crash to someone on a regular vehicle, but I find what happened weird & EXTREMELY RISKY & DANGEROUS.

Any way...YG...why not be upfront about what really happened, what Seungri\'s real conditon was & is  & STOP TAKING PEOPLE AS FOOLS. NOBODY IS ADMITTED IN ICU because of a bruise, scrape, a cut or laceration, a minor, non surgical internal bleed. YG taking people as FOOLS....the truth will eventually be revealed, but I\'m glad he is fine now.

They\'re not taking anybody as fools. It is YG prerogative to release or withhold information. Netizens have accused YG of working Seungri too hard and him falling asleep which caused the accident. Plus it comes on the heels of 2 members of Ladies Code perishing as a result of negligent factors. Nobody believed his explanation for Bom.....4 years later. Why should he offer any explanation for Seungri where people will just say he\'s lying?

@bangeryun94 ...Yes you are right that it is YG\'s prerogative to release or withold information. BUT there is a DIFFERENCE between that and RELEASING LIES. What I\'m saying is, if they don\'t want to give a statement then DON\'T, but if they are going to RELEASE any information, don\'t make one that is ridiculous. "MINOR INJURY THAT GOT ADMITTED TO ICU"? That is what I meant by taking people as FOOLS. Remember this is an UPDATE of his condition, not on the cause of the accident, part of that accident was already seen in a video...at any rate, even if Seung Ri really suffered severely and injured himself badly, he is THANKFULLY out of the CRITICAL STAGE, hence he is now in a regular ward. That should have been how their update should be. How can YG down play such an accident? In my years as a clinician, I\'ve NEVER seen someone who stayed in a hospital over a week for a MINOR injury. We even discharge our hip replacement or even our open heart surgery patients witin 5 days. Who in the right mind & condition will opt to give up the comforts of your own home for a hospital, when you only have minor injury to begin with? As in the case of BOM, I\'m sure that there were a lot of people who were convinced YG was telling the truth.....BUT then the media released information on the METHOD the medication was attempted to be smuggled, then it became a NANCY DREW mystery. Here\'s the thing...If one creates a WEB of LIES eventually you\'ll get caught in it, someow that\'s the way it is, some can manage to drag much later, other\'s gets caught on the spot. Different from how some people think ...FOR ME....IT IS MORE HONORABLE FOR A PERSON TO OWN & REPENT FOR THEIR MISTAKES THAN TO DENY IT, JUST TO SAVE FACE...WE ARE STILL HUMAN BEINGS AFTER ALL, NONE OF US ARE INFALLIABLE.
