Andy Biersack of Black Veil Brides is an astute observer with wisdom beyond his years regarding human interactions and what makes people tick and pay attention, which he displays in this philosophical new interview with him, where he also showcases his art style.
Biersack talks about fan expectations and how they've changed since he was a kid, what rock and roll needs to save itself and more.
"You can't describe why David Bowie is David Bowie," Biersack says of the dying breed of artist rock music needs. "What rock needs is the same thing that happens when someone tries to describe what salt tastes like. You can't describe it. You can't describe why something is important or charistmatic. It just is. And if those personalities come back to rock music, then we can possibly have a rebirth."
Plus: Stay tuned to find out what happened to the Batman doodle he created while talking to us.
If you enjoy this interview, check back on December 10, when we will be launching our second "Arts & Chats" segment with Circa Survive guitarist Colin Frangicetto.
