Fans have long believed that Rick and Carl Grimes are the only characters likely to be "safe" on AMC\'s 

(and, for that matter, the Skybound/Image Comics series on which it\'s based) -- but actor Chandler Riggs, who plays Carl, doesn\'t necessarily agree.

That\'s what he told WGN Chicago during a February interview.

"I don\'t know. Whenever I get a call from Scott Gimple or any of the executives, I get really scared," Riggs said. "Last year, we were in New York and I got an e-mail from Scott to give him a call when I had a chance. [I thought], \'Please no!\' He was telling me about Hershel\'s death."

The interview has been around for a while, but has been circulating on social media again today, possibly due to some fans speculating that he could be the "mystery cast member" appearing on 

. Typically, mystery guests tend to be actors whose character died in the episode in question.
