Published on April 29, 2017

"And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was dato unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, o in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years." ~ Revelation 20:4

Josie ran.

“Maybe I made a mistake thinking you’d understand!”

“Well maybe I made a mistake
marrying you!”

She ran, not heeding the tempest that tore at her clothes nor caring where she fled to as long as it was someplace far from home. Away from the chaos of her fighting parents and the hopelessness of the choice she was faced with.

“A tumor?”

“...it’s pressing on your brain stem and growing very rapidly. If it isn’t taken care of soon, it will be life-threatening...the surgery, however, would cost te your hearing... Permanently...”

I'm taking a history course this year, and I was supposed to write an essay on the reasons for success of Christianity. Enjoy!

Today, Cristianesimo is one of the most wide-spread religions of the world. But its history is filled with bloodshed and violence; early Christians had to endure horrific punishments for their faith. There are many stories of martyrs being stoned to death; of Christians’ bodies being used as torches to light Roman feasts; of people being crucified, sometimes upside-down, simply because they refused to renounce Gesù Christ as their saviour. In the midst of such persecution,...

I am not God, so I can't say 100% no. However, it is wrong and God looks at all wrongs the same. God loves us all the same no matter the race, the age, the gender, christian o non-christian, the murderer, the abused, abuser, person who makes excuses, the liar, the hungry, etc. No matter how many wrongs you've done. There's no such thing as," Ive done too much. commento and I'll answer domande as best I can. I might not know all the risposte but I can find them out and get back to you. I ask that te make this a challenge for me so I can learn too.
Last year, I wrote an articolo where I talked about Carrie Fisher's death, because I thought it would be an interesting idea to talk about, especially to close off the year. So, I decided to do the same, but this time, I want to talk about a topic that's been heavily debated da millions across the planet. I'm not trying to be super philosophical, but rather share with te my point of view.

A few days ago, I decided to look up a few video about souls and the afterlife. I look up a video that talked about theories of what could happen. Most of them seemed reasonably beliveable, except for the...

Matthew 28:19-20 describes how we must spread the Word of Gesù Christ. We should teach everyone—Christians and nonbelievers alike—about God. Tell them to believe and then strengthen their faith. Try to teach as many places as te can. Teach them the rules and poesia of the Bible. It doesn’t matter what they say about your beliefs, te know you’re right and that God is with you.
Once the Holy Spirit came at the Pentecost, the Apostles were now full of strength to do what Gesù told them. First, Peter healed a crippled beggar in the name...

Jesus Christ Superstar is a rock opera about the last seven days of the life of Christ before His crucifixion. Critics have dato it rave reviews. Even some churches have sung its praises. Some have even hailed it as a means of presenting Christ to young people in a way they will understand and accept.

However, no one who examines it in the light of Scripture can be happy with the opera. It is impossible to see the Superstar as anything but one of the "false Christs" of whom the Lord Gesù Christ warned us (Matthew...

"Alright fine, he was not a good human teacher. Why should I believe he was the Son of God and not a liar?"

The Bible contains many prophecies about the Messiah written hundreds of years before Gesù was born. These include when He would be born, where He would be born and how he would die.

Jesus fulfilled all of these propecies in his lifetime. Some he could contol, such as entering Jerusalem on a donkey, but many others such as being born in Bethlehem o being betrayed for 30 pieces of silver were completely beyond His control.

Beyond all the prophetic evidence, Gesù told his followers very...

Little nervous hands tug at the ruffles of a rosa costume da bagno as timid feet step onto the rough, wet surface and begin the long journey to the end of the diving board. Ominous shrieks and splashes echo around her as the cold air hits her skin, and she stops in her tracks. The edge is just five feet away.

“C’mon, Sarah-sweetie!” she hears her father call, his calm voice urging her inoltrare, avanti and rising above the noise that rings in her ears. “You can do it! Just a few più steps and then you’ll see me.”

The little girl whimpers and wraps miserable arms around her shivering self. Her legs...

She jumped up as soon as she saw the surgeon come out of the operating room. She said, “How is my little boy? Is he going to be all right? When can I see him?”

The surgeon said, “I’m sorry…We did all we could, but your boy didn’t make it.”

Sally said, “Why do little children get cancer? Doesn’t God care anymore? Where were you, God, when my son needed you?”

The surgeon asked, “Would te like some time alone with your son? One of the nurses will be out in a few minutes, before he’s transported to the university.”

Sally asked the nurse...

No one sits with him he doesnt fit in
But we feel like we do when we make fun of him
Coz te want to belong do te go along?
Coz his pain is the price paid for te to belong

Its not like te hate him o want him to die
But maybe he goes home and thinks suicide
o he comes back to school with a gun at his side
Only kindness from te might have saved his life

No one talks to her she feels so alone
shes in too much pain to survive on her own
the hurt she cant handle overflows to a knife
she writes on her arm wants to give up her life

each giorno she goes is a giorno that she is Ribelle - The Brave
fighting the lie that giving up is the way
each moment of courage her own life she saves
when she throws the pills out a hero is made

These are my visualizzazioni and thoughts about being a straight christian, but still supporting gay rights.

I wear a cross. It's a little golden attraversare, croce with a tiny ruby in the middle, being I'm born in July, and that's my birthstone. It's a girt from my mom, and I might pass it on to the successivo generation when I grow up. It's very special to me. I wear it all the time unless I'm swimming o bathing. I wear it in performances (I'm an actress-to-be and I play violin at school). Even when I was in a play about the ancient greek gods, I wore it under my robes. My whole family is part italian, so we are mostly...

 St. Elizabeth of Hungary
St. Elizabeth of Hungary
Hi guys, since tomorrow we are going to celebrate the birth of Gesù Christ, I'm going to write down a lista of my favourite saints. Ready?

1. St. Elisabeth of Hungary

Born a Hungarian princess, she was betrothed to Grand Duke Louis of Thuringia to secure a political ties with Germany and Hungary. She sympathised the poor outside her castello and sadly to say, she died at the age of 24 and was canonised a few years later.

2. St. Francis of Assisi

When I first watch bits of Stigmata, I did a little research of it and I found out that it is associated with St. Francis, I was fortunate to see the...

It started with “why?”. I thought it was the only domanda I needed an answer to, but every domanda led me to another one. Why does he do the things He does? Why did His Son have to die? Why does He Amore us, if we don’t deserve it? I had so many domande and I learned so much. I felt obligated to get baptized so I got baptized at this church on October 25,2009, but I didn’t feel 100% ready. After that day, however I started to feel più and più ready. I wanted my faith to be as strong as I could make it until I got re-baptized. I wanted to get baptized with a ready heart, not an...

Answer: Stoning is a method of execution during which a group of people, usually peers of the guilty party, throws stones at the condemned person until he o she dies. Death da stoning was prescribed in the Old Testament Law as a punishment for various sins. Both animali and people could be the subjects of stoning (Exodus 21:28), and stoning seems to have been associated with sins that caused irreparable damage to the spiritual o ceremonial purity of a person o an animal.

Some sins that resulted in stoning in the Old Testament were murder (Leviticus 24:17), idolatry (Deuteronomy 17:2–5),...

Happy Reformation giorno everyone! Brothers and sisters, let us rejoyce for today we commemorate the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation. Exactly on this very day, 500 years ago, in a city of Wittenberg, Germany a certain Augustinian monk has made a history. His name was Martin Luther, and he has truly reformed the Church. It was on October 31,1517, at the eve of the All Saints' Day, o All Hallows' giorno back then to be exact, when Martin Luther has made public the proclamation of true Cristianesimo aka the 95 Theses postato on the church door. It was the giorno that has forever change the Church....

That was the domanda Gesù asked the women at the well, as te read in John 4:7. Why would Gesù need man to do him a favor in the first place? Is He not the Almighty God who can do whatever He wants? So why would He need to ask a foreign women to give Him some water? Why would He ask te for a favor today?

You can respond like so many others do and say 'just leave me alone, I don't need you' and he probably would. te look at him just like one of these annoying insurance sales men that really don't want to leave te alone until they got te to either buy something from them o throw something...
