They love each other fiercly. True maybe they havent advanced on it in the manga, but there is touches on the subject and clues. Even though Sebastian is talking to someone else It always seems like he is talking about ciel.....

The Beast x Sebastian moment around chapter 34 or something like that, where he is telling her that the joker is cruel for leaving her like that and that he will turn and never look back.....it just seemed like he was talking in his point of view about ciel. Ciel would not look back at Sebastian or take a moment to consider him as a lover and he is cruel for that. Once you act a certain way for so long.....it starts to become you, whether you want it to or not and that is what i think is happening to Sebastian. He is loyal and loving for Ciel everyday of his life for almost three years now and i think that he may actually be starting to feel it for real.

And also he isn't human as he is a demon! it happens alot in stories the protaganist gets together with the vampire/demon/monster whatever they are and they are way older then them(I think sebby is over 1000 years old)
