We tried this link but everybody kinda forgot about it. Myself included. The TWD vs FTWD icon contest has been going on for about link and I'm loving that one, so I thought maybe we could give this another shot.

I think that was part of the problem last time is it was too broad. Having to pick one thing to icon from hundreds of movies every week was definitely part of the hold-up on my part.

This would only require one icon a week, and the rounds would switch over on Sundays. Most rounds would be an icon-this theme, where the image would be provided for you. (AKA the 'oh crap it's Saturday night, better slap something together!' rush will be a lot easier. XD) Every 5th round would be a theme where you can choose your own image.

I'm thinking that for this contest, we'll refer to "classic" as anything Disney that came out before the year 2000. That's nearly 20 years (my god), but sometimes themes may call for something more modern.

So, anybody interested? Questions, comments, suggestions?

Omg yes! Please do it. This'll also increase the activity on the club. Tho I think everyone should be able to choose their own image because everyone have different style when it comes to making icons.

Also I procrastinate a lot but I'll religiously try to participate every week xD

That's kinda the thing, though - there were too many choices last time, when it was a free-for-all. I spent more time hunting for images to use than I did actually editing them. You can still be creative when the image is provided - in fact, it can be more of a creative challenge that way, when you try new things to make your icon stand out from the rest.

^Agreed. It'll be more challenging this way (and I will lose :p) but honestly I don't mind hunting for the images. Finding the right image is also a part of the game.
