Why did Pastor Galswells betray Victoria?
He detto he was going to help her, but she just got locked in her room. Betrayal? Plan I’m not seeing? Was she playing along? I don’t get it.

He betrayed her yes in making her trust him, but he only thought he did was best for her
So she didn't play along, she honestly thought that he would help her
