Critical Analysis of Twilight An analysis of Twilight

Well, here on this spot we (the amazing fans that we are) have devoted our time and energy to analyze Twilight.
So, now we shall analyze it-ONE BIT AT A TIME. We'll take one small subject (eg-Is Jacob a better person in the first book of Twilight compared to BD?, Is Bella a good friend?, Is Jessica a good friend?,Is Lauren an important character?, etc) and try to reach an agreement (try doesn't mean succeed) on the topic. So, say the topic is: "Does Edward sparkle?" (they won't be this obvious) FAn 1: Yes. He is described as Coruscating. Fan 2: Coruscating means shining. Fan 1: And that means sparkling. Fan 2: Not really..... Fan 3: Glittering means sparkling, though. Fan 2: Right. So we agree that Edward Cullen sparkles. Any objections? (At this point, we don't go to another topic for at least a week, so that we can make sure no one disagrees.) The topic I've chosen for today is (fanfare) Is Bella Swan a Mary-Sue? ;) |
