Damon & Elena What kind of fiore did Stefan give Elena for the 20's dance?

I was wondering if he gave Elena the flower that Damon recommended at the beginning of episode 20. I don't know, I feel that this detail is important, because when Damon heard that Elena invited him to the dance, he told Stefan something about a gardenia and when Stefan gives her the flower the camera focus on it...Just a silly doubt...

Good observation. I belive Stefan gave her a white rose.Though It looked like gardenia - we didn't really have a good look at the flower.

it was a white rose. a little one. in the finale poster Elena is next to a rose that is half white(sort of) and half red. damn.

Red = Damon (He gave her a red rose in Under Control) = Passion
White = Stefan = Purity
