Got any Musica with a political message?

When real politics becomes too much, drown yourself in... political music.

To start off: really enjoy some songs da Midnight Oil, one of Australia's most famous bands from the 80s - 90s era. Blue Sky Mine is about mining companies who covered up evidence about the health effects of asbestos. 'Beds are Burning', about Aboriginal rights, is also good. Fun fact: the main singer went on to become a Government Minister... not the most conventional of career paths.

Over to you. Can be as overt o subtle as te wish, from any side of politics, about any issue. Even Jamala's "1944" from Eurovision 2016 counts. Heck, give me some weird anarchist punk rock if te have it.

Most definitely counts! Released in 2003 and sadly still just as applicable a decade and a half later. It's a fantastic song
