Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
Sorry Guys, the Frozen and Tangled Theory Has Been Officially Debunked
Frozen hit cinemas, came the hugely popular fan theory that Frozen and Tangled were linked. As great as that theory was, some new investigation by a blogger over at Satiricalfragilistic has definitively proved once and for all that it\'s simply not possible.
Read on to find out why we should stop with the Tangled/Frozen theory already, and just let it go.
The original theory detailed the possibility that Anna and Elsa\'s parents died in a shipwreck on the way to Rapunzel and Flynn RIder\'s wedding at the end of
Tangled. The theory was sparked off after Rapunzel and Flynn Rider were spotted in Arendelle for Elsa\'s coronation.
However as wonderful as the theory that both movies are tied together might sound, there is now proof that Rapunzel and Flynn\'s appearance was nothing but a cute little easter egg (a hidden feature which has no bearing on the actual film/video game but is a fun little extra bonus for those who spot it) for eagle eyed
Frozen viewers, much like a hidden Mickey.
It\'s a pretty simple answer really, by the time
Frozen takes place, Flynn and Rapunzel would have been dead for over 250 years!
From looking into the the costumes used in both films, Satiricalfragilistic was able to get an approximate date for each film. For example,
Tangled is set sometime between 1525 and 1550. Check out these side by side images of scenes from the film, matched with very similar clothing from the 16th Century:
Frozen was set sometime between 1830 and 1845. Take a look at the costumes for evidence:
There is even more costume evidence over here that more than proves that
Frozen was set sometime during between 1830 and 1845, but what it boils down to is that the Frozen/Tangled theory isn\'t possible because these characters are separated by approximately 290 years.
Yes, Flynn Rider and Rapunzel were at Elsa\'s coronation, but it wasn\'t because their worlds are linked through some sort of Disney universe. Instead it was a fun Disney easter egg from the animators - something that if you happened to notice, you got a kick out of seeing and if you didn\'t notice it, then it\'s not like you weren\'t missing a big part of the storyline. Disney has been doing it for
Or what about Belle, Pumbaa and Aladdin\'s magic carpet all appearing in
Sorry to say, just because a Disney character appeared in another Disney film doesn\'t mean they\'re in linked universes, it might just be the animators having some fun.
