I didn't love her, most small children I know don't love her- little kids just don't find her to be that attractive a character. She's much more popular with the 12+ group of Disney Princess Fans.

And, because I know that a lot of people will say Jasmine is least loved by children out of these, every small child I know likes Jasmine's spunk and feisty spirit. Boys like Jasmine better because Aladdin's her prince too. Plus, she has a big adventure and a pet TIGER. Little kids eat that stuff up. Not to mention that they think she's pretty. My little cousin LOVES Jasmine's hair.

All of these "Four Princesses" images from Disney Parks and Disney Princess merchandise contain Snow White, Cinderella, Belle, and Aurora. The princesses at Disney parks greet young children, and merchandise is geared to them, so I think these are both good indicators. And Ariel is the Little Mermaid, so she is often independently seen not as a princess. But I think all six of these are very well loved.

Once again, mostly older fans like Belle. I dont know any kids that like her. Most kids like Jasmine or Ariel.

Shoot, I had my two little nieces make lists of who was their favorites but I forgot what they were. Grr. I remember that one of my nieces had Jasmine and Tiana in the middle, with Jasmine on top. But I forgot exactly where and who was above them. But I definitely know who their number 1 is. XP I was surprised they didn't like Mulan so much but eh.

i don't understand why snow white has so many votes

The iconic five in Disney Princess merchandise are Cinderella, Belle, Aurora, Snow White, and Ariel. Jasmine would be the odd girl out for not being the main character in her movie. I find that for children, those characters are not appealing than the others.

UGH! i can't get over how hideous Jasmine looks in that icon.

I don't think alot of kids have even seen Sleeping Beauty as much as the other movies, therefore that makes her less loved.

Children really don't like Belle. I don't see how she's still here when Mulan isn't. I've never met someone that can truthfully say they don't like Mulan.

I don't think children relate as well to Jasmine as they do with the other princesses, and that might effect how much they like her.

I think it's weird that for this countdown, everyone's going by what they think kids think. Nobody actually knows (unless anybody here has kids of their own). From my experience (I help my mom out a lot, and she teaches 2nd grade) kids don't care about the things we do when ranking our princesses like "how much can I relate to her?" or "is she the main character of her film?" or even "how much is she shown on merchandise?". They see something, they like it, they don't change their opinion until something better comes along. They don't put all the thought into it that we do.

No matter what happens, this countdown isn't going to be very accurate, because you're not asking kids directly.
