8 Signs You’re Obsessed with Finding Nemo
Picture this. You’re sitting in class or at work and you can’t wait to get home. The clock seems to have slowed. The end of the day could not come any sooner. It’s not because you want dinner. It’s not because you’re bored. Nay, it is because you need to watch
. The movie you put on when you are happy or sad, rain or shine. You pretty much have it memorized. And sometimes you just have to watch it immediately. If this is you, then you might just be obsessed. And we can relate. Here are some other symptoms to look out for:
1. When someone around you does something well, you shout: “You so totally rock! Righteous! Righteous!”
In fact, whenever you can talk like Crush, you do. We don’t blame you, because Crush is everything we want to be. He is so wise, yet carefree. Even at 150-years-old, he is still young. Crush’s turtle goals are our life goals.
This applies to anything that is cute. Babies, puppies, kittens, inanimate objects. Literally anything that is adorable will be named Squishy, and it will be yours, and it will be your Squishy.
3. When a new friend joins your group, you immediately give them a nickname.
Then you make them jump through the Ring of Fire (which is really just you and your friends blowing bubbles out of a wand.) The Tank Gang is a seriously amazing squad, and they don’t let just anyone join their group, so neither do you.
4. When you’re near the ocean, you speak only in whale.
Just in case a whale is nearby and wants to chat.
5. When you are showing someone how to do something, you always sing about it.
And you always begin the song with a drawn out vowel sound to make sure everyone knows that the lesson has begun.
6. When you see a seagull, you say, “Mine, mine, mine!”
You do this on loop until somebody around you makes you stop. It may annoy your friends and the seagulls, but it is worth it.
7. When you need to go somewhere, you repeat the address over and over again out loud.
Repeat all day long until you reach your destination. If it’s good enough for Dory, it’s good enough for you.
8. When a friend is sad, when you are sad, or when a stranger nearby you is sad, you tell them to “Just keep swimming.”
If that doesn’t work, you call them Mr. Grumpy Gills. If that doesn’t work, you repeat the phrase in an operatic singing voice until they are happy again.
