Song about E.T. from the '80s?

I was born in 1977. Sometime in the '80s my mom bought me a Musica cassette titled "Party Poppers". It contained songs like "Iko, Iko", "The Bird Dance", "Mahna Mahna" & "E.T. Phone Home." I loved this cassette, but happened to misplace it & I don't have it anymore. Anyway I am trying to find out who did the "E.T. Phone Home" song. They sounded a bit like Boney M but they weren't. The lyrics to the chorus were "E.T. phone home, you're never gonna get back home" Someone else out there is trying to find the same song:

If anyone can help me out I sure would appreciate it. It's definitely from the '80s.

I have the same problem! I misplaced the cassette, too! I'll see if I can help and find the E.T. song. So far no one has postato the correct lyrics o song on the net yet. Do te happen to remember the playlist for the cassette, I'm trying to recreate my own lista now. I can't find the song lista anywhere. It would be awesome if te can help me figure out what all the songs were. Many Thanks!

Found the Party Poppers album foto not the album because it wasn't available. The song is called Extra Terrestrial. It might be originally da the Good Guys. A novelty record.

I did read once that Spielberg got the culo and got the song taken off albums that had it ,but I don't know if that's true

And I think the album was called something different in Europa
But had the same songs u mentioned
