Another day, another thank you to the internet Gods for giving us joyous moments to laugh about – and this time it was all thanks to Ewan McGregor who took part in a Reddit Ask Me Anything session on Sunday evening.

It was all ticking along fine, until the entire thread was overtaken when he revealed that if he wasn’t actor he would be a sculptor… the opening lines to the second verse of Your Song, the Elton John track which Ewan covered in the incredibly popular Moulin Rouge.

And the internet being the internet, the moment he answered ‘I can imagine being a sculptor’, one user replied: ‘But then again, no’, and off they went.

Sadly for Ewan though, it seemed Reddit hadn’t got the sing song out of the way, and when the Trainspotting 2 actor kept giving soundbites that allowed Reddit to keep singing, well, who was going to say no?
