can te all tell me how tohru lifts the soma curse?

It may be the way one interprets it.. I saw it as Tohru saving them from their suffering, and mostrare that there is Amore beyond "The Bond" that the curse has on them. Each of the Zodiacs carried a burden, while under the rein of an unstable and also burdened God who was afraid of abandonment and change- overall, the curse was "forever, without change."

Tohru non-only made their lives better, but even reached God. At that point, I think she indirectly freed them from the curse because she got to Akito- who ultimately set them free. I think the curse was weakening either way, but the sole power to free them was with God. Akito detto "goodbye" and then everyone who's curse didn't break before hand was freed.

...I assume that is the case. ((I'm also biased, therefore in my mind, Akito is always the answer XD))

From my perspective, Tohru, like the others said, didn't directly lift the curse. To put it in simple words, she "softened" up Akito. da making Akito realise the truth about herself and the others. She helped CAUSE the curse to break, but Akito was the one who let go of each zodiac animal and set them free.

Well, she didn't really. The soma's curse comes off because of time. All she did was ,in a nut shell set, them free from Akito. That's all I could think why, hope it works for you. :D

I think that what they meen from them saying "lifts the soma curse" well think of them saying (lifts the berdon of there shoulders) she exceptis them for who they are and helps them get past problems .....

i think that what they really call the curse is not really that they sterna into animal's

but they are isolated from others nowing that if they fownd out about there curse they would be fort to be (monsters, demons) they fir being hert da others what corses pain for them. so they stay isolated from all other people beleving there all alown.

I think the way Tohru broke the curse is that she was the first person to lover every single member of the Sohma family and look beyond their curse and see their true self. And not only that, but she never stopped fighting o loving any of them, even Akito. Because the curse had stopped any of the Sohmas from living life o allowing themselves to be themselves, Tohru's Amore acted like a light in the darkness: leading them away from the suffocating and toxic life and "love" their family and curse had caused them to live in. All the cursed members of the Zodiac family had to grow and learn to Amore themselves as they were and cut the ties holding them back before the curse could be broken (think of the movie Penelope). In addition to that, the curse was originally created da the God so that he would never be lonely and would always be loved da the animals, ensuring that even in death they would be bound together. But Torhu showed the present God-Akito- how this was unhealthy and that true Amore is letting people follow their dreams and leaving your side, even knowing that te may never see those people again. Akito and the Sohma's realization of this plus the power of Tohru's Amore is what broke the curse. And even though people could say that time was just eroding the curse, none of this could've happened if Tohru Honda hadn't stumbled into the family and changed them da just being herself.
