Emilia Clarke sings 'MMMBop' in Dothraki

’ world-conquering success than the fact that the Dothraki language is real and can be studied like any other dialect. It’s even won awards – at least according to Emilia Clarke, who told Seth Meyers she heard someone say that once and thought it sounded cool.

After six seasons of playing Daenerys Targaryen, Clarke is an old hand at speaking Dothraki, to the point that few on set are able to catch her pronunciation mistakes. As Clarke told Meyers on Tuesday’s episode of

, she even had some fun with one of her costars recently. When the camera was off her face, Clarke launched into a Dothraki version of Hanson’s “MMMBop,” which sounded something like “mmbop-eth, un-duin dot-eth.”

“I can’t stress enough how less catchy that is,” Meyers said.
