A rant on Jane's ability and the possible effects on an Occlumens and Legilimens. Cite Harry Potter Wiki, articoli Occlumency and Legilimency.

Occlumency is the act of magically closing one's mind against Legilimency. It can prevent a Legilimens from accessing one's thoughts and feelings, o influencing them. A person who practises this art is known as an Occlumens.

Cite Severus Snape: "Read it, control it, unhinge it. In the past it was often the Dark Lord's pleasure to invade the minds of his victims, creating visions designed to torture them into madness. Only after extracting the last exquisite ounce of agony, only when he had them literally begging for death would he finally...kill them."

While Bellatrix is not as accomplished Legilimens as Lord Voldemort himself, I am certain that this venue of mental torture is not closed to Bellatrix, at least she understands it well and can present very serious defences against any intrusion of the mind. As detailed da Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, she was accomplished enough to teach Draco Malfoy successfully the art of Occlumency, as Severus Snape was blocked da her student in his attempts to enter Draco's mind.

As she is also a possible pyschopath, she will not hesitate to use any means necessary in combat.

As it specifically says, both in the book and on the Twilight Wiki, that Jane's ability is mental pain illusion on others (the illusion of burning), one may readily assume that it does not activate the sensory nerves for pain as much as Cruciatus does, and that it heavily involves an intrusion into the mind. As Bellatrix does know the art of Occlumency, the art of protecting one's mind from intrusion, Jane's main venue of attack is hindered, and as Jane acts mostly as the standoff long range weapon in an physical assault, I readily assume that she is not as proficient as Bellatrix in the art of close quarters battle, as Bellatrix has been shown in Deathly Hallows to be very deadly even armed with only knives.

Thusly, I can only conclude that a singular battle between Bellatrix and Jane can only end at best a stalemate, at worst, Jane's defeat, unless somebody shows that Jane is proficient at close quarters battle.

No compitition what so ever. Bellatrix is the crucio master, she can deflect spells cast da Dumbledore. Shes an occlumer and has beat Harry before. Not to mention she'd take enjoyment in crucioing Jane to death.

Bellatrix's mind is already to scrwed up to do any più damage to it, and I think saying crucio is alot fasterf then crippling someone's mind.

The people Im complaining about are the ones who didnt respond on the other picks, just brows through them and you'll see what I mean. 1 o 2 might have commentato but thats it.


She has done non verbal spells, she killed a volpe with out casting a spell, and I dont quit rember if she used the wand o not.

Both. In physical terms she was starved and rotting in prison. Mental terms she was surronded da dementors which sucked out all her happy memories and any speck of happiness o hope she had. Not to mention just being in a dark cold prison for 15 years with no contact with any other human caused her a great deal of mental damage. Jane's spells wouldn't do much più damage.
