Wooow 76%, that's absolutely pathetic. None of the HP films deserve anything less than a 90.

I never listen to "professional" critics anyway. Can't stand them.

What exactly were they expecting? The Harry Potter Film have never been short (I know this is the longest one - I think - but, still) and after what happened in the last movie, did they honestly think it was going to be sunshine and rainbows? Have they read the book?

Weird, I thought it was too quick. If anything, they went too fast through the movie, not too slow. If you're going to take points off, take them off for that.

They can all blow themselves. I agree this movie was awesome. I loved the feel of it, it was new and great. I don't know what they are talking about long, the first part was actually shorter than the last movie. People are so nit picky and I'm starting to think they just like to cagna for the sake of bitching. This movie was so creative. Even the Three Brothers tale was creative. But, of course te can't make everyone happy, but for it to be the in the 70's that's just fucked up (pardon my french). *rolls eyes in annoyance*

Ive stopped Leggere the reviews, those ppl who hate it havent read the libri o followed the series i think it deserves a 5 stella, star rating even maybe a 6 stella, star rating, and i also agree that harry and ron are very handsome but Ron has to be the superiore, in alto out of the two, though i think this movie is più for the loyal fan of harry potter which im very glad about, putting più of the book in then changing J K Rowling ideas so much that we dont enjoy it as much, i think just stop looking at the reviews because we all know its awesome, we dont need someone to tell us it is

'Too dark'......HELLO?! The book it is derived from is dark, what would be the point of lightening the real story? It's not Cinder-f**kin-rella!! I'm guessing these people didn't read the book and therefore, have no clue what they are talking about. It isn't really a kids story, I think the series begins più for kids but get darker as they go along and end up being adult books. This Suits me fine as I'm a adult fan and get fed up of people saying I'm going to see a 'kids' movie lol

That's really too bad because DH really IS about being long and dark! It's the freaking finale! And it's a war for Pete's sake, not a kiddy party. I completely agree with te when te say that it was "masterfully done", imo, David Yates did an AMAZING job. He even put in some comic relief to break the tension!

But I must disagree with te when te say that there should be NO film critics. There would be considerably less indie and experimental films if not for critics that appreciate them, because the populace certainly won't.

Are they kidding us ? Have they read the libri ? Of course, it is supposed to be dark ! As for duration, well, I don't mind, if it's good. te know what is detto : "the longer the better". And I'm not talking only about sex... LOL

It's long because it's dense, that's why they diviso, spalato the book into 2 movies. As for the dark, well this is not a fairy tale. Just a tale about life and death, and as in real life, life has its darkest moments. That is something we can all relate to.

The movie is to be released in France on Nov 24. I look inoltrare, avanti to watching it. Never mind the critics. All this is subjective - the best critic is still ourselves. One's man trash can be one man's treasure. And for sure, judging only da the cast (ah... Alan Rickman... *sigh*), this movie is no trash.

PS : from what I have seen in the trailers, Severus is più gorgeous than ever...

My brother detto he liked it but it was 'angsty as fuck'. And I detto 'Well, oh-kay then, let's put te in their situation.' He detto 'Yeah, but I thought they would have got over it now.'

/rant ~ Just had to share. (: I loved it, btw.

I just don't understand how the critics can accuse it for being "too dark". I mean, have they read the book? It obviously deals with dark issues. Do they expect the director to try and make things like death and evil più lighthearted, just because HP has a lot of younger fans? That's just f*cking ridiculous. This movie was amazing and moving, and yes it was dark, but in order to stay true to JK Rowling's genius plotline, it has to be. It sets just the right tone for this period in Harry, Ron, and Hermione's lives that is particularly dark.

Plus, Rupert and Dan were HOT. And Emma was gorgeous.

And seriously, "too long"?? For one, I would have been fine with it if it went on forever and ever. And for another, if you're a film critic, I think te should actually LIKE watching movies. Plus, this movie was fast-paced, action-packed, and at no point did it even come close to getting boring. So I don't know where these critics got the "too long" part from, but they obviously don't know what they're talking about.

The ratings are silly, in my opinion. "Too long?": For one, it was the same length as the precedente movies, and two, it was never boring. [To true Harry Potter fans, it was too short!] "Too dark?": That's just ridiculous. They probably meant that it didn't have enough happier moments to balance the angst. I, on the other hand, applaud the directors for staying true to the tone of the book, which is very dark. The nice balance was dato in the scene where Harry dances with Hermione- a scene not in the book which served the purpose of lightening the tone and exemplifying the fact that the characters really have grown, like JK Rowling's book established. All in all, the movie isn't necessarily going to be a ratings-whore because it doesn't follow Hollywood's typical "Happy ending, sunshine and rainbows" motif (unlike *coughcough* Avatar *coughcough*), but people will Amore it (as, we've seen, they already do) because it stays true to the tone of the book. All in all, I'd have to say that it is a fantastically crafted masterpiece, with incredible acting, and it has to be the best movie yet.
