Now that Harry Potter is over, I’ve made a little lista of the films from my least-favorite to most preferito (as of now…it tends to change), listing some of the pros and cons of each. I wrote this just for fun, and I’d like to hear your thoughts as well. This is just my humble opinion, and I’m sure it will be different from yours, but no rude commenti please :)

The fourth Harry Potter movie, whilst not being exactly the longest, feels like it’s the longest. The special effects are great, but in my point of view they hardly...

So I've been thinking about this a lot lately...I discussed this with a friend a few months ago. We were talking about how many Christian groups (as te well know) have condemned HP as anti-Christian. In fact, I believe that the Harry Potter story is actually a symbolization of the Christian religion.
Note: This is entirely my opinion and is not meant as "Christian propaganda" o to offend anyone in the slightest. It is merely my opinion! :)

Harry Potter is Jesus. Whaaaaat?!
1) Both HP and Gesù were born into humble beginnings.
Gesù was born in Bethlehem, a tiny town literally in the middle...

Here's a comparison and contrast essay I wrote for school - keep in mind my English teacher has never read Harry Potter, so I had to explain stuff.

When comparing a book and a film, o something similar, the first thing one thinks about is obviously the plot. And in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, at first glance, you'll find it's rather similar in both the book and the film. Harry, Ron and Hermione, the main trio, go to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for their sixth year. They're shocked when they find out that ex-Potions Master Severus Snape has been named Defence Against...

I'm basing this review mostly on J.K. Rowling's official words and a little on the books's content. I write this regarding how the domanda of the educating style is often pondered and some even think "all pure-bloods were home schooled".

The purity of one's blood is not relevant to how a child is schooled before Hogwarts. With the exception of families like Malfoys o Blacks who would probably die before sending their kids amongst muggles to learn anything. But whatever few pure-blood families there were left - as far as I see - most of them are not known to be like those two, but have a respectable...

"Who wants to be in Slytherin? I think I'd leave, wouldn't you?" - James Potter (DH)
Imagine being in Hufflepuff, I think I'd leave, wouldn't you?" - Draco Malfoy (PS)
Similar yet different!
Quite ironic isn't it? Father of the hero and arch nemisis of the hero have the same line. I don't think it's a coincidence that both James and Draco quote a similar line about a house they were prejudiced against. Both boys were brought up as the only sons in rich pureblood families. Both were undoubtedly spoilt. Both were definitely raised with a house prejudice. Both were definitely arrogant, attention-seeking...

*The Great Hall was built for Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone in 2000 and was used as a key set for six più films. (The Great Hall does not appear in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1).

*The House Points Counter was rarely seen on screen, but it is rumoured that when it was first built it caused a national shortage of Indian glass beads.

*The spectacular Great Hall includes the costumes of students from each Hogwarts house plus two large tables which are set for dinner; at the superiore, in alto of the room is the teachers' tavolo where the Hogwarts Professors sat. Iconic scenes such as the Yule Ball and the Battle of Hogwarts were filmed here.

I've noticed that (here, anyway) a lot of fan seem to have severe opinions of Snape. Either they hate him, o they Amore him and he's the best character ever. I don't see many who have a mixed opinion of him, so I'm going to try to explain mine.

I think that, while Snape was extremely Ribelle - The Brave spying on Voldemort and the Death Eaters for many years - and I can't imagine how hard that would have been - there are also many bad points about him.

+ I do pity him his childhood. Parental breakup and them fighting all the time, being poor, being picked on and isolated. Poor him. Unlike others though, I...

If te don't know already, there's a Harry Potter fan of the mese Award created da the die-hard Potterhead Peppergirl30 that -obviously- runs every month. I decided, with credit to peppergirl30 (Emma) to create a WEEKLY Harry Potter fan Contest to have them più frequently.

This is planned to not intervene with the Monthly Contest and the results of one will not change the other.

ANYBODY can enter even if you've already won but there is a limited number of people who can join. Please, no più than 20. There's lot's of other oppotunities to enter anyway so it shouldn't matter too much. te CAN vote for yourself but don't feel pressured to vote for somebody else incase people think the worst of you.

Now for the final bit, if te want to enter yourself for Week 1 of the Harry Potter fan of the Week Contest, type in the commenti your username and your favourite character with your favourite picture of them.

Tonks and her husband, Remus Lupin,
Tonks and her husband, Remus Lupin,
Nymphadora Tonks, better known as simply "Tonks", was killed on May 2nd, 1998, in the Battle of Hogwarts. She was battling alongside her husband, Remus Lupin.

Tonks is the daughter of Andromeda Tonks, formerly Black. Her mother had gotten away from her families ways. She was not a Death Eater and she did not believe in blood-purity; Tonks took after her mother in that way.

The first time we see Tonks she is helping to safely sposta Harry from the Dursleys house to 12 Grimmauld Place. That night she risked her life, but it was all for the cause. Tonks was both an auror and a member of the Order...

Hi guys, I'm a big fan of Harry Potter and I remember watching Halloweentown. So, I'm going to be Scrivere the similarities between Hermione and another young witch, Marnie Piper.

Marnie Piper

I first saw Halloweentown back in 2001 before Harry Potter hit the cinema theatres! Okay, I was very happy that Marnie is her own character and she is not the typical Mary Sue character.

Hermione Granger

Okay, I watched all of the Harry Potter series, and I have that Hermione is actually very much like Marnie, in terms of personality except that she più of a book-worm. To whom I look up to, not to forget that their names rhyme!
If Harry Potter and Halloweentown were to be set in the same universe, it would be great to make a film about the characters together!

Hermione o Marnie?

Who do te like? If te have anymore similarities between these 2 heroines, let me know!
 Oh Simon! te amused me!
Oh Simon! You amused me!
Wow, I'm very happy that my first Harry Potter articolo made it to the front page regarding the Cursed Child. Here are my thoughts on my love-hate relationship with Snape!

Simon Cowell

For obvious reasons, Simon Cowell reminds me of Professor Snape as they're cold, sarcastic and aloof. It's no wonder that I develop a love-hate relationship with Snape!

His Soft Spot for Harry

Although he had a love-hate relationship, it wasn't until the secondo part of the Deathly Hallows and the Goblets of Fire. That I kind of feel bad for Snape himself, I mean he had no intentions to kill Dumbledore and being...

 Helena Ravenclaw
Helena Ravenclaw
Helena was a tall witch with waist-length hair. She wore a floor-length cloak.

"Pheonix, I heard that a muggle called Joan Rowling wrote a book about me." detto Harry Potter one day.
"Harry, I know and I've read it. It seems that even though I'm just as famous as you, she doesn't mention me in the book. Oh yes, niether did she mention Lily." replied a girl sitting successivo to Harry. She had long dark brown hair and misty blue eyes, she was so beautiful. Actually, she's not just a girl, she is Phoenix White, Harry Potter's cousin.
Harry smiled and replied, "Lily, I think she is much più famous than the two of us. She is just so Ribelle - The Brave and loyal, it was such a comfort to know...

((In this little one-shot, Harry reads "The Tale of the Three Brothers" to his kids. I'm not saying anything more.))

Harry pulled a battered old book from its shelf in thed library. It was small, and its margins were covered in Hermione's neat handwriting. He held the book in one hand, its cracking spine resting in his palm, and allowed it to fall open. The book fell open to the one story he knew was true. It was time for the kids to know, too.

From a drawer in his desk, Harry pulled out the old Invisibility Cloak. It had once belonged to his father, James Potter, otherwise known as Prongs.

So Rowling never really discussed why Bellatrix is so obsessed with Voldemort. And I constantly ponder upon how anyone could find that no-nosed snake-man-boy attractive in any way. With that detto I wanted to post a few of my theories as well as some of the interesting ones I've seen across the net. Once again, as stated, these are just theories and speculations. No more, no less.

First and foremost I think it's a pretty sicuro, cassetta di sicurezza bet to say that she loves him o at least started to Amore him based on the fact that they share similar ideologies. Both loved the idea of pure-blood supremacy. A lot of...
