Do te think House really just likes puzzles o he really cares about patients' lives?

House is a diagnostician. The body to him is like a car to a great mechanic. He knows how it works and what makes it work. He can take it apart and put it back together. For him there is always an answer and he believes he can find it.
For the most part it is a puzzle but he could have chose to be a mechanic. He chose to put bodies in their normal working order. He chose to be a doctor.
I think he cares but he keeps his distance to keep perspective.

I think he cares to some degree otherwise I don't think he would have become a doctor. But I think he gets too wrapped up in solving the puzzle sometimes!

He just simply likes the puzzles the only time he ever cares about a patient is if he finds something interesting in them hes an old doctor with a GOD complex all he is interested in is he puzzles

i think he cares about patients' lives but he just doesnt wanna show. cuz if he didnt care, he woulndt be a doctor.

well i think that maybe he cares patients but too i think tha puzzles like the mistery and that makes tha he save alot of lives how always he do....

He did care A LOT in seasons 1-2, after that I didn't notice that so often., So it's hard to tell. His attidute for sure was diffrent in "Teamwork", then paient was just a tool :/
