Why did house and stacy break up?

I believe they broke up because House could not forgive Stacy for making the decision of having his tissue removed without amputating his leg (the infarction) while he was put in and induced coma, and because of that decision he lives with daily pain in his leg. Its a scene from "Three Stories"
