Hi! I'm a Spanish fan of Hyouka, and I'm very interested in the Episode 8 and the film of Mystery. Who do te believe that is the assassin? :D
My theory is that the assasin is the victim, because the hand on the floor is the right hand, but the victim was southpaw, when he catch the key of the room, he do it with her left hand so may be he cut his own hand.
