The Deacy Amp is a small, one-watt, roughly 5 inches (12.7 cm) amplifier created da and named after Queen bassist John Deacon and used da guitarist Brian May.
It was created in the early 1970s using an amplifier circuit board found in a skip da Deacon and stationed into a Hi-Fi speaker cabinet, powered da a 9-volt battery. The amp was used along with May's Red Special chitarra and his treble-booster to produce sounds reminiscent of various orchestral instruments.
