Like Drakken, I don't think (not even for a second) that she'd go too far out of her way to do good deeds. However (again, like Drakken), by the end of graduation I think that she has a totally different side to her. And we've seen it a few times; like when she decided to let Kim win and not betray her brothers in Go Team Go. And when she helped Kim defeat Warmonga (not in the last episode, but in the first one Warmonga appeared). Also like Drakken, I feel like she puts up a tough front. Like she has this soft side and she doesn't want anyone to see it (this is evident in Go Team Go). She's just better at covering the good part of her than Drakken is.

^ Everything you just said! Wow, is Shego one of your new favorites? Because she's awesome! *Hypnotizes you to continue watching the Anastasia videos and make her one of your favorites too*

In all seriousness, I'd love to know how she became the way she is. How she went from good to evil. All we know is that the more she fought evil the more she loved evil. Plus the fact that her brothers are idiots that can't so much as work a toaster without her didn't help. Plus when she was turned good and then went back to evil but looked at the pictures of her and Kim bonding and hanging out, actually looking at them with delight. That's something you don't see a lot with animated villains. Also when Mr. Barken came to sing her a song, she stops Drakken from hurting him (I forget what he planned on doing), but heard his bad singing, and then let Drakken do it (I don't blame her, the man is horrible at singing). She definitely has a soft side to her that she doesn't let show. But definitely don't tell her that when you're up in a plane or anywhere else she could kill you at lol. Also, where were her and her brothers parents this whole time and how did they feel about all of this? Obviously she knew the whole secret identity thing was something no idiot would fall for.

Yeah, she's one of the new faves. I may be able to watch them tonight. After I get my reflection paper done. In fact it sounds like a good idea to get my mind off of the presentation I fucked up royally today. >.>

Same here, I wish they would have put more background into she and Drakken. They hinted at all of these complexities and you know there's a story behind her turning evil. But the writers left those strings untied. I'd definitely love to know what about the darkness she fought had eventually allured her. As you said her brothers were so hella annoying they'd totally be that deciding factor to just leave.
And the Stop Team Go episode you mentioned; of course she burned the pics but I feel like that was more of this 'I have an image to keep' thing. I don't even think she was ashamed of going to the good side for a bit.
That's another thing I wanted to see; we saw Drakken's mom. But there's absolutely nothing there for Shego's parents. Did they die when that comet that gave them their powers hit? Were they dead before that? Do they just not appear? Who are they and what's their story.

Pretty much what the above users said.
There's practically evidence that she has a (small) good side. There's a lot we don't get to know about her, though, and it vexes me so. *headdesk*

Obvious reference is obvious.

Story of my fandom life though! Icy, Nerissa, Bellatrix, Azula, Isabella. Pretty much every character I ever loved (and to varying degrees) has this air of mystery around them. Like you know! It was subtly hinted that there's this whole world of complexity behind the character...it's just not explored! Azula's was a bit more than the others but there are still a lot of details missing. Regina is really the only one of my faves that has a full background (that's still being explored, many <3 to the authors for that).

I think with Azula it's definitely more clear because they show she had no love in her life, she was betrayed by her friends, she realized in the end her father saw her as a means to an end, her mother thought she was a monster, and all of that caused her decent into madness and losing control of her mind. Not as explored as Zuko but I think she was explored pretty good but of course not to the point (as Azula would say) it's "GOOD ENOUGH" (Almost isn't GOOD ENOUGH!").

Yeah, relaxing should help. But yes, how tragic. I MUCH rather see Icy's backstory explained than the villains that replaced her, Darcy, and Stormy as the main villains and especially attention hog Bloom. I much rather learn about Bellatrix than Voldemort or Harry! I like the W.I.T.C.H. main characters (except Cornelia) but I'd rather learn about Nerissa than them or the other villains. The Avatar comics (or better yet an Azula spin-off show) should focus more on Azula than the other characters that have really gotten all the development they need because it's really getting repetitive to see the characters continue to struggle with the same problems and learn the same freaking lessons. GIVE AZULA SOME MORE DEVELOPMENT, BACKSTORY, AND A REDEMPTION ARK! I don't know Isabella, sorry lol. But to add to it, THEY SHOULD'VE MADE JADIS THE VILLAIN IN ALL THE NARNIA BOOKS!

I definitely agree there. She's also a character whose story is still being told. I guess what I'm looking for is some more showing not telling. As you said, I just wish her character was as explored as Zuko's.

Same here, like I would to see her gosh damn background already. I don't not care that Tritannus was a whiney little kid who was jelly of his brother. I do not care that Seleina and Bloom were friends once...mostly because I don't give a damn about Bloom, we see enough of her. I just want some Icy. 5 seasons! She's been here for 5 seasons and we got nothing. Though I like Voldy and Harry, I feel like learning about Bella would be way funner. I want to know why she's so obsessed with Voldy and why she lost her mind, because it wasn't just Azkaban. Same here, Cornelia kinda sucks. She's such a snob. And while all the other characters are cool, Nerissa's where it's at. What was she like as a Guardian? What about before that? Uggh, so much villain want. The Avatar comics (or better yet an Azula spin-off show) should focus more on Azula than the other characters that have really gotten all the development they need . Yesss, this is exactly what I'm saying. I like Zuko and Aang but in a sense their stories are over. They completely developed and we know what we need too and more about them. What about Azula? Hell, what about Mai? What about Ty-Lee? Give the fire ladies some loving! Isabella's from BBC's Robin Hood. She's the sister of Guy of Gisborn. Dated Robin Hood briefly. Right, Jadis was the shit!
