In the shadows of looming trees, a small lupo pack came weaving invisibly through the forest. For thirteen days they had been hunting for prey to feed their starving forms. They came as silently as ghosts themselves, swept along like leaves in the strong breeze. As they broke from the trees the alpha, o leader, appeared, her fine head up, ears cocked forwards for any signs of prey. She was followed into the open da five other wolves.
