First off I would be curled up like a ball in the corner crying which might send a bad vibe, but when I finish crying I walk up to her and hold her hands and say "Your dad talked to me about how much he cares about te and that I have to treat right. Your mom is very nice. Maybe we could see them again?" I am not the best writer, but I tried my best to describe what was in my head.

Id understand her dad and say hes cool and her mom wouldn't creep me out and id say she was nice
