even though kisi has detto this there is no point of open ending especially when he has written so many romantic moments which should surely not go in a thrash anyways romance is the most popolare and controversial topic in Naruto history and i believe that at least main character will end up with somebody
Hopefully ShikaTema, although Kishimoto kind of killed it when he detto he didn't want to write any romance for Shikamaru. But they're basically the only couple I like, other than the ones that are already canon.
Three years isn't too much of a difference, especially when they grow older. I myself am dating a girl two years older than me; I don't see what's so wrong.
