Is the King Boo in Super Mario Sunshine the same King Boo in Luigi's Mansion?

Maybe they just wanted to change the styles of the Boos for SMS. It could be him. Dont see why not.

I think they are. If te noticed, King Boo's appearance has changed throughout the course if the series. In Luigi's Mansion he had red eyes, a blue tongue, and a jewel crown. In later Mario appearances he wears a normal oro crown and has the appearance of a normal boo. And even though those two appearances differate from the one in Sunshine, I'm pretty sure they're the same character.

There are a lot of Queen Elizabeths so I guess there could be a lot of King Boos

king boos looks and size changed in Luigi mansion
(his eyes are red, tongue blue and is smaller in luigi mansion

No because the one in SMS is probably the WORST reincarnation of King Boo EVER!
