Do Any Of te Owl fan Have Owls As Pets?

Personally, I do not have an owl. No, it is not illegal to have them as pets, but te must have a special license. It is illegal to have one without a lisence. I do not know how to get the license, sorry. Also, it would be very expensive to feed them... One of my Friends saved up for a anno and then bought a pet mouse. If te brought an owl to his house, gone in two shakes of an owl's tail! :) If te do like owls a lot but are not willing to spend all that time and money, te can get an owl nesting box and put it into your backyard, if te live around owls. te can buy one online o make one yourself out of wood (not sure how though). Owl nesting boxes are like homes for owls, but they are a plus for the owls don't have to make them! With nesting boxes te can watch owls without having to take care of them. In the U.S IT IS ILLEGAL to keep an Owl as a Pet, te can not have it as a pet. te can have one in your home if te have a license te can keep it ONLY if it is part of rehabilitation o te work with a wild life preserve company o zoo and is at your house for an indefinite but not permanent amount of time.

my mum disagrees with keeping birds,but when i'm older i want to get a pet owl, te have to no how to look after them though and stuff, and i do but i have to get a licence first,they also have to bred in captivity otherwise they have the will to fly off,i live in england so it's not illegal to keep them.

No, I don't have an owl as a pet and I'm not sure about the legal part of having one. I've seen documentaries about wildlife vets caring for ones who have been hit da cars, shot o poisoned.
