When I came to I didn't recognise where the deuce I was. It was dark and chilly. That was pretty much all I could make out. Then I heard voices. They grew louder and louder until I could almost make out what they were saying. There was a male and a female somewhere nearby. As I listened I caught things like, "'Just found him on the road', and 'Would'a bled to death had it not been for', and, 'By george I think he's coming around'. That's when I opened my eyes and found two humans dressed in blue staring down at me. I found it kinda awkward but I didn't dare move. The lady eyed me then remarked,...

"Bye! Bye!" Private calls, still waving his fins in his mother's flippers.
"Nigel! Come here! Private's okay!" She cheers, and brings him closer. "I Amore you, Private! I'm so sorry!" She whispers.
"I Amore you, too; mummy." Private smiles. That's when Nigel waddles up. Private jumps out of her fins and into his uncle's.
"Uncle Nigel!"
"Private! Hello, lad! My it seems like you've grown!"
"Uncle Nigel,"
"I'm serious." Nigel lovingly rubbed the superiore, in alto of Private's head. He giggles, and removes Nigel's flipper.
"Private, who was that?" His mom ponders.
"Oh, that's Skippah!" Private points.
"Skippah?" The...

Day 9

“Tetrahydrozoline hydrochloride.” Dr. Corbett reported. He handed the test results over to the guard as he said: “That was the active ingredient.”

“What are the effects?”

“Well, considering the state he’s in, I’d guess he’d ingested a considerable amount. Taking this into account, I’d say we’re looking at a possible drop in body temperature, nausea with possible vomiting, and that’s only if he isn’t in a coma.”

“How long would te say he’d stay in this coma?”

“It could be up to four to five days, a week tops, o it could be a matter of hours. Depends on...

"Help!" Private screamed. Shock supressed his body so much-he could barely stand. The car came to a screeching stop. The headlights flickered off, and the side door began opening. As the pinguino began getting out, Private began recognizing him più and more. "Oh my gosh!" Private gasped.
Skipper laid firm. Ramona circled in closer and closer. His eyes followed her to the best of their ablitities. "Sorry, must have dropped my ax. Better get it out." Ramona teased, and grasped the weapon with both flippers. She wedged it in even tighter, inflicting pain, which caused him to wince even more.

Day 7

“Guys, we have a serious problem.” Kowalski reported. He, Eve, and Private were in the hut early the successivo morning.

“What’s that then?” Private asked, a look of concern on his face.

“This guard named Manor is getting suspicious. I think he knows we’re up to something.”

“Well what do te suggest we do?” Eve asked.

“This needs to go down soon.” Private instructed.

“Well, obviously, do te have a plan?” Eve asked.

“Not quite. I just need a little più time. Kowalski, do te think te could tap into the prison security?”

“Ha! With my eyes closed and half my brain...

Private dashed into a hiding place, grasping the knife. The rocking chair was perfect! As he sat down, the door opened. Skipper shut it gently behind him. Anxiety portrayed on Skipper's face. Because he got closer, Skipper's footstep's got louder. Each thump made Private quiver.
Although it seemed Skipper was searching for something, his footseps stopped. Private poked his head out. He saw Skipper's back on his own bed. When Skipper reached for his nightstand, Private gasped. Instead of rummaging through the droor for his knife, he took a corded phone that was set on top. Private sighed in...

As I detto before, me and those two knuckleheads surprisingly enough became a well-oiled, working machine and even as much as a unit. To them I was their leader and friend. To me, they were closer than family. Manfriedi was the cute one. He had this sort of tantalizing charisma..or a sleazy humor. I don't know what you'd call it. Then there was Johnson. He was heavily built with a towering structure and a deep-voiced laugh. The two weren't the brightest lights on the end of the string, but they were valuable all the same. Then came that dreadful night. We were travelling through New York after...

Day 3

Skipper paced back and forth in the narrow walkway. He’d look out the small window in the door, and he began humming to fill the silence. Hans started to get irritated. “What’s the matter with you? Are te having a seizer?” He asked smart-allecky.

“No! It’s just killing me not knowing what’s going on!”

“So in other words you’re starting to go crazy?”

“In a way I guess.”

“Well don’t get your feathers in a twist we’ll be out of here da tomorrow afternoon.”

“Seems like years away.”

“What did Eve say to you?”

“All she was able to tell me is that my team...

I was halfway to New York, walking along the side of the highway in a rainstorm feeling like a drowned ratto when suddenly someone grabbed me and threw me in a cage. "A penguin?" The bug-eyed creep of a human asked, "You belong in a zoo boy.." I struggled to get free but it was no use. After while I gave up on escaping the cage. We made a few stops, one of which the guy noticed my gituar. He took it from me and detto it would sell for a good price. We travelled onward for two più days before we reached the Central Park Zoo. He pried me out of the cage da my scruff and carried me into the zoo...

We sailed for days before we reached the shores of Mexico. Over those days I got aquainted with the crew. The 'Boss' was affectionately known as 'Whopper'. The jerk that I tried my best to avoid as much as possible was Earl Brick. Then there was Josie the strange loon. I think she was the thin little line keeping me from going crazy on that ship to Mexico. Speaking of which, when I stepped off that floating tub and fought off a rotten case of sealegs me and Josie decided to check out the marketplace. Of course I had to pillage and plunder the place a little just to get a kipper..ok a lot of...

It took only a few secondi for me to process her words before I realized she'd let go of my foot. In less than two secondi I hit the freezing water. I couldn't see..I couldn't breathe. You'd think a pinguino would know how to swim. I hadn't really dato it much thought up 'till now. My cuore nearly stopped when I realized I couldn't swim..and the surface of the water above me was getting further and further away. I paddled my flippers wildly trying to get to the surface. No use. I didn't make much distance and I was running out of what little breath I'd had in the first place. My lungs screamed...

I eventually found out why they called the ship 'The Green Bucket'. After a few days I was as sick as a dog. What's worse I had to stay down in the ships' hold where no one on board could see me. After a few days spent in a rocking barca I either got used to it o just simply ran out of stuff to barf up. Either way, I felt a bit better after while. Then one unexpecting morning some wise crack came down into the hold to my level. Let me just say he wasn't standing up down there too much. Every time he'd wake up I'd schiaffo, smack him into successivo tuesday. Finally I had to start hitting the other eye because...

As Private woke up from letto that morning, the room was dim. Sure the lights were on, but the sky outside the window was darken. Moisture filled the air. Something in the penguins' instincts told them there would be a storm.
He found Skipper standing stiff in front of the window. Terror flooded his eyes. Rico was just as puzzled as Private. There was something bothering Skipper. Uh-oh, here he goes again.
"Skippah, what's wrong?" Private whimpered.
"What?! Uh ... Nothing."
"Is there something we don't know?" Private gulped.
"Listen, the night we came, Ms. Williams tookme into the hall to discuss...

I saw the sun flash off of the coltello and into my eyes. I clamped my eyes shut and waiting for my life to end. Nothing happened. I opened my eyes to find Hans staring at me with resentment in his eyes. "What's the matter Hans? You'd rather turn me in?" I scoffed. It's not like I wanted to get killed da this demented dane, but I was a bit confused at him. He sat up, "Skipper..I can't kill you..you're the only friend still alive." he admitted with a sob I knew was fake. I narrowed my eyes in paranoid suspicion.
"Hans, let me get this straight. te set me up as though I had actually KILLED one of...

I slowed my pace, but I could hear wing-beats and heavy footsteps behind me. I looked over my shoulder. Hans was hot on my trail, anger and hatred burning in his eyes. Further behind him were at least two-dozen guards. I couldn't stop here. I sped up, kicking the pavement behind me with my feet. I ducked underneath a vehicle as it sped by. I swear it just about made me have an early molt. I focussed ahead, forgetting the truck. A lady's high-heeled feet stood in my way. I braced myself, shooting like a blackand white bullet right between her legs. The woman shrieked like a headless chicken...

For the successivo nine days, Skipper wasn't himself. All day, every day, he mobed in the rocking chair. He would stare out the window. Sometimes he'd watch the sky. Others he would groggily daze out at the woods, o fix his eyes on the tame flow of the lake.
The once great leader would find himself waking up those days after noon. Losing one of his men, was practically losing, not a battle, but a war. Very surge of confidence from his body had seemed to be demolished.
It had come to the point where Rico and Private went to do things without him. They begged Skipper to get and do something, but it...

Skipper was slumped in his bed. He might have looked peaceful, but inside his mind was torturing him, excessively. Every secondo of his reverie, pained his cuore and caused him to panic.
Skipper woke and gasped. The familar scene was very comforting. The light streamed in through the window. Skipper renewed his cool, and let out a morning yawn.
As he always did, he started his giorno with a few stretches. He flexed his flippers. After a firm work-out on his fins, he bent his legs.
Once he was completely finished, he checked on his team. Rapunzel - L'intreccio della torre up in his sheets, Rico thrashed around, sucking...

I am dunked carelessly into the bone-chilling water. Kicking my legs, I try to make it to the surface. Then, I remember everything over the past few days. I am a disgrace in my father's eyes. I always will be, until I restore my honor.
Accomplishing this will be a small step, but it seems like a good start. I vow, to avenge my place. When I'm ready and properly trained, I will kill a foca, guarnizione and bring it to father.
I look around to check if it's sicuro, cassetta di sicurezza to touch the bottom yet. Nothing out of the ordinary swims in my vicinity. Just some pesce and a shark. A shark?!
I tug on the rope as a sign for help....

First thing in the morning, Skipper got the team up, to look into the discovery Kowalski made. None of them stopped until all the libri were scattered on the floor. It had to have been impossible.
There was no possible trace of evidence. The room wasn't there, even. It was like it had just vanished.
"Sorry, Kowalski, but it's like there's no way this happened." Skipper said.
"I know, but te have to believe me! I saw it. I saw them!" Kowalski exclaimed.
"We do, Kowalski, it's just that this place makes it extremely hard." Private reassured Kowalski.
"Thanks, but I'm not sure if I even believe...

This morning, I take my time to get myself prepared. I mope out of bed, and munch on some fish, that were set on the table. The sun hasn't even risen yet. "It couldn't hurt to get a little più sleep." I think.
As soon as I cover myself up with the sheets. My mother notices and folds her flippers across her chest in disappointment.
"Skipper, I know, you're not used to getting up this early and we were both up late, but please, just do this for me."
"I don't wanna go to school! Can't te tell them, I don't feel well?"
"Come on, Skipper, te can't be late on your first day. You're going to make...
