Pianoforte Domanda

I need help! Does anybody have any experience tutoring little sisters???

Hi everybody, I'm 15 and I have a 7-year-old sister. I have studied Pianoforte since I was 6, but it was my mom's idea. My father was never interested in music. But last mese we visited our uncle (he lives in another city) and saw our cousin (who's 6 months older than my sis) playing piano. Now my dad wants me to teach my sister Pianoforte too! The problem is that my sister is not at all interested and she can't focus. I have to mostra her the notes all the time, but she can't memorize o understand anything. She forgets everything I say after 5 seconds!
She cries all the time during our Pianoforte lessons, and my dad is now angry. He detto if I couldn't teach her, I would be grounded. Please anybody tell me what to do!

Well,I never had to tutor any of my little sisters, but I do tutor some of my little brothers. The first one,who was eight when I started teaching him,was no easy task, lemme tell ya.This kid was(and still is)THE most absent-minded person I have EVER met.I'd teach him a note o two,and the successivo giorno we would sit down at the Pianoforte and he'd be completely brain-dead on the subject.I was ready to kill him.Or myself.I COULD NOT get him to learn. So this is what I started doing.Every time we learnrd a new note, like "g" for example,I would have him find all the gs on the piano. Then,I would have him flip through a few Pianoforte libri and find some gs in there. And THEN,I would break out some staff paper and have him draw some g notes on the correct line.By the time we were done,he usually had it down pretty well.Hope this helps!
