how do te get a mystery gift?

when i went to mystery gift i did not get a gift it detto no gifts found.

full story-go to any pokemart and to the questionare and put in "link together with all"and the sellsman will jump and say te know abot the mystery gift and then save and turn off your gameboy then put in your wireless abdapter and go to mystery gift and te should get a treate like a ticket to an island o something.:>
