Scythers work best in teams, while Nidoking tends to do best solo. Besides, Scyther is more of a leader type than Nidoking.

In a way I wouldn't judge a Pokemon by the way most of their kind are because not all the time are Pokemon going to be the same they all have different personalities the only similarity is that they look alike and talk alike..so I think this depends but I'll go with Nidoking.
