Is it true that American highschools start at 7 am?!?

I'm going on student exchange, and in the book it says that school starts at 7 in the morning!!


I'm not even awake da then on a school day!

Some of them do...it really just depends on where te are. For example, the high schools in my hometown didn't start until 8:30 but the schools just 1 county over started an ora earlier.

Though, I live in Hawaii. I suppose some schools in North America might start on 7 a.m. I wouldn't know..

Our AM classes start at 6:45am. But most people start at 8. The AM classes are for people who want to take extra classes o don't wanna a last period.

The book lies, te might have to get up da 7 am if te want to have decent time to prepare, but 7:20 works just as well. American schools start at 8:00 at least as far as myself and every other American I've asked is concerned.
