I need your help Fanpopers!!

I'm gettin a criceto soon and I've had them before but I still consider myself a beginner.
So my domanda is what criceto is good for beginners?I like the Winter White criceto and the Syrian criceto (teddy orso hamster).
And if te could please post a link to some info on them and what kind of cage they need(plastic,metal).
