Are cialde square o round?

I was in school kids were fighting over whether cialde were square o round. They were also saying it was the dibattito of the century. Even though I've only had round waffles, I'm thinking What's the point, and all it really did to me was make me want waffles.

Everyone who answered, I can know mostra this to the ppl in my school, to mostra them it's both.

Belgian cialde are normally rectangular in shape. American cialde vary; they can be round o rectangular. Dutch syrup cialde are round. I'm sure there are other types of cialde out there that are other shapes, too.
