Don't worry, high school’s awesome! It's alright to be nervous, I remember that I was pretty freaked out about my first giorno too. I'll be a Senior this year, so I'll give ya some of the basics. - Get a map of the school to help te find your classes, it helps prevent te from getting lost. - Be careful about older students, such as Juniors and Seniors, because some like to joke around with the new Freshman. If te need to ask a domanda it might be better to go to a teacher. - Don't stop in the middle of the hallways, because the hallways are like a traffic marmellata on the high way. People accidentally bump into each other ALL THE TIME. And don't run. That’s an obvious rule, but seriously. Don't run. That's just dangerous. x3 - Wear something comfortable for you. If te have to wear a uniform, like I do, follow the basic guidelines for the uniform, but still be comfortable. At my school you're supposed to tuck in your shirt, but most students, including me, don't. If you're going to public school, just wear something that'll make te comfortable and fits your personality. But no flip flops. Those things are deadly. - I use a pocket binder to help keep track of all my papers and worksheets from classes. I Amore that thing. It really helps keep te organized. - Get plenty of sleep. It sucks to be tired in class. - Keep your cell phone in your locker. There’s a lot of crap that goes along with that rule, so seriously. Keep it in the locker. x3 - If you're buying lunch, make sure te have plenty of money. In some schools, Cibo can be pretty pricy. Just to play safe, don't go overboard on the food. te can probably go back for più if te need it. - Stay on board with your school work. Always check to make sure whether o not te have a homework assignment, o an upcoming test o quiz. It REALLY sucks to fall behind in your work o grades, because it might take te awhile to catch up. - Don't be afraid to see your teacher if te need help with something. That's what they're there for, and they're always willing to help! :) - Plenty of pens, pencils, and notebooks are a MUST. - Unless your teacher tells te not to, always bring your textbooks to class. - Don't worry about having glue, scissors, crayons, etc. te don't do arts and crafts in high school. If you're taking an art class, the art teacher should provide all the supplies te need. - I Amore having a locker! Your locker is your own private spot away from home. Go crazy with it! Put up pictures, notes, anything. Just don't damage the locker, o you'll have to pay the school a fine. And use magnets, NOT TAPE. - unisciti stuff! High school offers so many activities, it’s a great way to make Friends and get involved. It also looks good on college applications. - Most of all, just relax. Your fellow students are in the same situation and a lot of them are probably nervous as well. Just chill out, be yourself, and HAVE FUN! :)
