Okay, first of all, I'm sure there are plenty of non-Americans who are scared shitless from clowns. And secondo of all, you'd be scared as well after seeing this freaky culo dude:
Even though i'm not American, i think i need to speak up. There are millions of people living in America and not all will be afraid of clowns. There are people in all countries afraid of clowns, america, sweden, africa, japan, england, all over the world te will find at least 10 people in each country afraid of clowns. What makes te think it's only america and all americans?
I'm pretty sure there are people from every country who are afraid of clowns, not just America. Why? As Lon Chaney so eloquenty put it, "there is nothing funny about a clown in the moonlight."
From the time we are infants, we are afraid of the unfamiliar. To a certain degree, this is hardwired in us. Visually, we are programmed to cerca for the familiar, particularly in faces that we see.
Most of the time, clowns wear masks o painted faces which obscure their real facial features. Whether it is a happy clown o a sad clown o a scary clown, the clown face is specifically designed to be a parody of a real face, to exaggerate a certain emotion. What we recognize in the clown face is an exaggerated emotion rather than a real person. In a way, the clown hides behind the clown face. I believe this is the basis of why people feel afraid of clowns--Because we cannot clearly see their real faces, we can be mistrustful and even fearful of them.
Don't act like Americans are a pathetic nationality!!!Some of us,some of us aren't.I ain't afraid of no clowns and I'm American!!!Well..Afican American but I'm still afinded!!There's other countries that're afraid of clowns too!!!!
