Yes.
Regardless of who o what something is, and regardless of the things they might have done in the past, anything o anyone in need of help should be able to get it. And there is no way that the demon could be pure evil. I think even a demon could have some good in its heart, and there is a chance that I might be able to teach it to make good decisions rather than evil ones. And besides, even if I couldn't teach it to be good, I most certainly wouldn't want to get on its bad side!
