What song explains your life o your life currently?
For me, a song that has explained my life is 'You're Going Down' da Sick Puppies. However, this is because of the way I've managed to interpret the song.
This song for me is frankly Me vs. Life. Strange, right? Not so much for me, at least. I feel that life is a constant struggle of me trying to come out on superiore, in alto despite every hole I've fallen into and every fuck up I've managed to have present. The chorus:
"It's been a long time comin',
It's a little different now,
Cuz one of us is going, one of us is going down"
That line to me is basically this: No matter what happens I'm going to go down regardless in the long run because let's face it, death is a bitch. But if I can manage to succeed then whether I die o not, I've beaten the game that is life instead of it beating me and I would be able to leave this world happier knowing that I've accomplished something. Turning the tables on life is the hardest thing to do for some people due to numerous of reasons and factors.
In conclusion, this song is one of them that keeps me moving during my lowest moments and times of struggle and encourages me to get to my feet and cheer myself on when no one else will. Because at the end of the day, no one is going to face my problems for me except me and the giorno I came to realize that changed who I was as a person. No one is going to be there for te like te should/can be for yourself. Hince another part of the chorus:
"I ain't runnin', it's a little different now."
This for me is "Fuck running away from my problems. We bout to throw hands Life."
And that "little" difference in my mentality made the most effective change in who I was as a person.
