Okay, so these five are my absolute preferito Revenge characters.
1) Emily Thorne, Formally known as Amanda. Obviously, she's the reason we watch the show. She has the Death Glare down to an art, she carries off a prendisole, sundress like a boss, and she has fabulous hair. Oh, plus, she likes to dramatically X things out with a red marker...Like a boss. (sorry, overuse of popolare terms here. Can't help it :D)
2) Nolan Ross, also Like a Boss. He is the other reason I watch the show. Seriously, without Nolan, where would we be? Or, worse, a Not Awesome version of Nolan. That would kill me. UGH.
ROYAL PAINS Daniel makes a move against Conrad, proving he’s just a chip off the old Grayson block.

Emily shares her secret, Victoria and Conrad are positively cuddly, and a certain Hamptonite goes to jail By Tara Fowler
Revenge got really artsy with the opening this week, didn’t it? The fish-eye view of Victoria in bed, the creepy slo-mo of Conrad nearly shaving half his face off (that was a lot of blood), Kara crumpling the newspaper in wounded frustration -- all watched da Emily on high like some sort of god (or producer of The Truman Show). I guess that makes the titolo of this episode, “Penance,” particularly fitting, dato the religious connotations...
FIFTY SHADES OF GRAYSON Why yes, my wedding dress does match my name! How kind of you to notice.

Jack proposes to Amanda, Victoria and Conrad get hitched, and Emily proves that revenge is, in fact, a dish best served cold By Tara Fowler
As the great songstress Natalie Imbruglia once said, “Illusion never changed into something real.” Words to live by, if this week’s episode of Revenge -- the aptly titled “Illusion” -- is any indication. Indeed, if their was any lesson to be gleaned from last night, it’s that an illusion can never stand in for the real thing. Faux-manda can’t be real Amanda, for Mason o for Jack; Victoria can’t be happy with...
PHONING IT IN Emily's two steps ahead of her enemies... Or is she?

The Graysons expect Charlotte's inheritance to solve all their problems; Nolan gets audited By Tara Fowler
Tonight's episode of Revenge was called "Resurrection," but what we really witnessed was a death. Emily's sinking deeper and deeper into her scheming and her plots, and she's losing herself in the process. I can only hope that a resurrection will follow, that we will see her come out of this darkness eventually, but for now we can only stand da while she self-destructs.
"Resurrection" kicks off with Young Emily on a road trip with her mother, while our Emily...
REFLECTION Who is that girl I see staring straight back at me? Anyone but my mother!

Party like it's 2006! Emily meets Aiden for the first time, details about Victoria’s past emerge, and The Stowaway is still being blackmailed. Some things never change. By Tara Fowler at EW
'm still recovering from Thursday night's Cibo coma, so let's get right to it, Revenge-ers. It's 2006 and Aiden’s sporting a bow tie and a bad Russian accent (see also: an unfortunate mustache). Emily struts up to the bar in a gorgeous LBD and asks for Sergei. Aiden, charmer that he is, mistakes her for an escort and directs her to the VIP area where we meet… Ashley! We...
NAME GAME JFK once said: "Forgive your enemies, but never forget their names." Unless you don't know them in the first place, that is.

The Graysons enjoy "pain du mis," we learn più about Emily and Aiden's past, and the white-haired man gets a name! By Tara Fowler at EW
"In a race between danger and indecision, the difference between life and death comes down to confidence. Faith in our abilities, certainty in ourselves and the trust we put in others." Those were the opening lines of this week's Revenge. And yet, for all of her preaching, Emily didn't seem all that confident. Now that the possibility of finding her mother is within reach, she seems to be losing her grip.
WHY CAN'T WE BE FRIENDS After all, you only had an affair with my husband and pushed my fake daughter over a railing.

Kara bonds with Victoria, Padma puts Nolcorp in a compromising position, and a certain journalist makes his sposta against Amanda and Emily By Tara Fowler
Before I start this week’s recap, I just have to ask: is there anyone else who finds Kara Clarke’s voice kind of… annoying? It’s too breathy. I feel as though we’re supposed to sympathize with her -- as the titolo of last night’s episode “Forgiveness” would imply -- and yet I find it hard to do so. Then again, maybe that breathy voice is part of her game. After all, we’ve seen the steely core that...
MISS CONGENIALITY She's beauty and she's grace... And a killer?

Nolan gets a girlfriend, Victoria throws a baby shower, and someone ends up in the hospital By Tara Fowler
I have a confession to make Revenge fans. Until last night, I hadn’t been too sure how I felt about this season. It just doesn’t seem as deliciously… soapy as the first one. Emily’s cerca for her mother had made her over-emotional (with good reason, I suppose). She’d been behaving irrationally -- Letting the assassin into her house? That was just plain stupid! -- and it had started to get on my nerves. But then came “Intuition.” I loved this...
