te might have read her all-ages comics and te probably saw Melissa Joan Hart play her in the TV show, but now Sabrina the Teenage Witch is getting a brand new comic series with a dark spin. Sabrina will stella, star in The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina da writer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and artist Robert Hack.

The new comic series is set to debut in October, and will feature the teenage witch back during the classic 1960′s period. Sabrina will face all kinds of horrors, and the creators promise it will be an even darker comic than Afterlife with Archie. The horror renaissance that Afterlife kicked off led directly to Sabrina and gave the creative team permission to try new things and veer in darker directions with Archie’s iconic players.


If you’ve been Leggere Afterlife with Archie, then te know that the zombie apocalypse is set off da the young witch herself, who is then removed from the series da being locked in some sort of hell/purgatory until she learns not to mess with life and death da her aunts. The moment her aunts revealed themselves as hideous crones was when te first realize that this Archie comic was changing all the rules.
