1.) The movie's content does not state her as his wife.
2.) The deleted storyboard scene does have her say she would be his Queen if he was alive BUT remark that this is not confirming that she necessarely WAS his queen. It only indicates that she THINKs that she WOULD be - while it might be nothing più but her obsessive fantasy. Judging da that line from the deleted scene, both possibilities are equally likely and thus neither is official. Plus, the scene was deleted and thus no longer official to the movie's storyline.

I knew that they didn't mentient in the movie. But Disney should have mentiond what relationsh Scar and Zira had.
Why? Isn't it screaming obvious that she was his loyal follower. and apparently a fanatic one too That's all they let on about their relationship, so that's what the relationship is: idol/fan relationship. Why should they have stated it in direct words when they wrote it all over Zira's behaviour and lines anyway?
