I watched Serenity before I ever saw Firefly and I really enjoyed it, and didn't have any trouble following it, so I'm sure te could. The mostra is great and I really recommend seeing it eventually, but the movie is enjoyable and understandable without having seen the show.

Thanks! I just got Serenity on DVD and wondering wether o not I should watch Firefly first.
I agree even though I watched the series first, I could just have easily enjoyed the movie without seeing the series first. (even though I still cried for te know who) CAN'T STOP THE SIGNAL
I discovered firefly on a Science channel marathon Natale giorno of 2011 and was immediately hooked. I don't think I would have been able to relate to the movie without seeing the series first. I still have to watch the first half of the movie because I got the giorno wrong and came in after the first ora had shown 3-6-14. I'd never heard of Ovation until my son told me the movie was on earlier in the week. I wasn't sure I wanted to see Wash get killed, but watched anyway. I'm going to keep track of the schedule and watch the whole movie in the future. If te like Nathan Fillion, you'll Amore castello and be on the lookout for firefly references throughout that series.

Just saw that the successivo firefly marathon is on this Sat. on Science channel and the successivo mostrare of Serenity is on Friday on Ovation, but I'm going to my daughter's for the weekend near Cleveland and probably won't b
be able to watch. (why di d my commento get postato too soon?) I don't have DVR, but can watch my own marathon on Hulu plus. I'll just keep checking for the successivo mostrare of Serenitiy so I can watch the whole thing.
