A new Olympic athlete to the family! The medal-winning ginnasta Jade Carey, 24, and her boyfriend Abel Shanbels, whom she sparked romance with since 2022, announced the birth of their first child, son Luke Adam, via vaginal birth in Nashville on August 13. Jade, who first became a young cheerleader for local school pallacanestro, basket games in every winter season from 2004 to 2016 before transitioning to girls gymnastics alongside Simone Biles, Grace MacCallum, and Suni Lee for Olympics in 2021, revealed in January that she and Shanbels are expecting together. Later, Jade competes for Paris Olympics in July as passed in maternity leave before giving birth. After Luke's birth, her parents, Brian and Danielle Carey, officially became first-time grandparents. "Jade was happy for her first life as a new mom", a rep told Good Morning America. "She and baby Luke are heartwarming, happy, and healthy that her family can't wait to introduce a new addition to the latest brood."
