One week later.
Whatever it was that had made Cas so ill, it looked like it was gone now. Anna had been right. He didn’t need their help. Still it had been terrifying for Sam and Dean to see their friend suffering like that and not being able to help.
But Cas’ condition had made Dean set a few things in motion. He and Sam had been to the city hall at night, when the place was empty, and Sam had broken into the computer to make some legal papers for Cas.
“This is your ID” Dean detto when he handed the ID card to Cas. “Your last name is Novak. Hope te don’t mind”
Cas accepted the card. “Thank you, Dean”
“Now when te get sick again, we can take te to a hospital” Sam commented. Cas got up from the letto and rubbed his eyes. “How are te feeling?” Sam asked.
“Like rubber” Cas answered. “Have I been sleeping all week?” Dean nodded. “Did I talk in my sleep?” “No” Dean said. “But there was a moment when te woke up and te detto that Meg didn’t have your blood in her system and that it was something else that had made te ill. Do te remember that?”
Cas shook his head and then frowned concerned. “Meg” he detto worried. “Did te tell her I’m here? She might wonder where I am”
“Yeah, I told her” Dean lied. “But she didn’t really seem to care”
“What?” Cas detto disappointed.
“I’m sorry, Cas, but she’s a demon. She doesn’t care for humans. te better forget her” Dean detto insensitive.
“No” Cas replied determined. “I’m going to take a shower, because I smell. And then I’m going back to her”
