Why is The Phantom the Angel of Music, but in The Phantom of the Opera (song) he sings "Sing, my Angel of Music"

Why is Christine suddenly the Angel of Music, but in future songs, The Phantom is back to being the Angel of Music? Why did that change, in that song?
